Mallary is currently a student at Johnson and Wales University where she is attending to obtain a bachelor's degree in culinary arts and food service management, thanks to the help of the Bern Laxer Memorial Scholarship fund. Mallary enjoys learning new cooking techniques, yet her true passion is in baking. She loves being in the kitchen!
In addition to her obsession with baking, Mallary likes to try unique foods and travel to new places. She recently competed in the National ProStart Invitational at the local level where she placed 3rd to advance to the state level. Mallary has a competitive nature, also competing in the Florida State Fair competition where she made a deep fried peanut butter banana funnel cake sandwich that won the best in the “sweet” category. This win put Mallary’s recipe in a cookbook and gave her a chance to share her recipe in the news.

Mallary hopes to one day combine her love of travel with her obsession for culinary arts through educating others about new cutlures, food and cooking techiniques.
