Hélène Seillan
Assistant Vigneron, Vérité Estate
Born in 1987 in Bordeaux, France, Hélène Seillan moved to Sonoma County, California in 1998, surrounded by family and friends for whom winemaking was as much a passion as it was a profession. In 2006, After studying Viticulture and Oenology and the Institut de Vayres in Bordeaux, Hélène began working at Château Lassègue, her family’s estate in Saint-Émilion. Following in the footsteps of her father, Pierre Seillan, in 2008 she began splitting her time between Bordeaux and the Vérité Estate in Sonoma County, learning the subtle distinctions between the two wine regions. Hélène was elevated to Assistant Winemaker at Vérité in 2013, and since then has spent the vast majority of her time in Sonoma County. Today, with Pierre’s guidance, she manages all aspects of vineyard and winery management, showing the same talent, passion, and ability as her father.
