We invite you to join us as we kick off the 25th Annual Bern’s Winefest with the Art, Bubbles, and Bern’s Brunch at our legendary Steak House. For the first time in over six decades, we will hold a seated brunch with our partners from local art gallery CASS. We have commissioned a beautiful new piece of artwork to be unveiled during the festivities. This year’s artwork is created by Paola Delfin and will reside at our sister property, Haven

Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to sip on our wine collaboration with La Rioja Alta, S.A. released to the public for purchase for the first time at our brunch. This gorgeous artisan series bottle of Viña Arana Gran Reserva 2012 has a stunning label representing the artwork from our previously commissioned piece with PichiAvo - currently located at the Epicurean Hotel

We are grateful to our sponsors Kobrand and Cass Contemporary for helping us kickoff a week of indulgent toasting for what is sure to be an historical Winefest as we raise funds for the Bern Laxer Memorial Scholarship granted through the James Beard Foundation.

Paola Delfín

Paola Delfín is an Artist born in Mexico City.
Since a very early age she found in painting and drawing a magical way to create her own
world, telling stories where she could share the endless fascinating aspects that she found in
us humans.
Growing up in a land where Art and Culture have left a tremendous mark and always played a
fundamental role, Paola understood the importance of involving society in the artistic
process and making it available to any audience.
Delfín found in Public Art the perfect way to do it. An opportunity to honor her heritage and
share the stories, memories and messages that need to find a voice and be heard.
Her work explores the different and profound aspects in human essence, inviting us to reflect
about the importance of the bond we have with all the life that is surrounding us, the search
of our true self , soul and body, our roots, and above all to remember we are all connected.
