On night four of Whiskey Tampa Foxtrot 2025, Haven welcomes Bernie Lubbers, Whiskey Ambassador for Heaven Hill Distillery and widely known in the industry as The Whiskey Professor. Family-owned and operated since 1935, Heaven Hill is home to some of Kentucky’s most beloved bourbon labels.

This special outdoor dinner will feature Bernie’s guided tasting alongside a multi-course menu from Executive Chef Chad Johnson, Chef de Cuisine Lynnessa Hughes, and the Haven culinary team.

Bernie is Heaven Hill Distillery’s Whiskey Ambassador Emeritus. A two decade plus industry veteran, Bernie has worked alongside the legendary Parker Beam and continues traveling the country and the globe sharing Heaven Hill pours and stories with folks that want to learn more about our Native Spirit.

Whiskey writer Fred Minnick credits Bernie with “Single handedly bringing Bottled In Bond Whiskey back to the forefront”, and in an article in March 2025 Garden & Gun Magazine called Bernie Mister Bottled In Bond.
