The Epicurean Hotel’s Executive Chef, Jonathan Atanacio, will host a delightful, four-course seminar in the theater celebrating the best thing in life - bubbles with dinner! The evening festival event will include five of your favorite Laurent-Perrier Champagnes in harmony with a play on sweet and salty. Get your event tickets, and be sure not to miss this special food and wine event at this Tampa foodies’ paradise!

The Laxer Family Foundation is a charitable foundation that provides the opportunity to raise money through events that foster a more inclusive and cooperative youth culture while cultivating the advancement of the next generation of culinary leaders through scholarships. Since 1997, Bern’s Winefest has been the main fundraising event for the Bern Laxer Memorial Scholarship. Through the James Beard Foundation selection process, funds are awarded to individuals from the state of Florida in one of three disciplines: Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or Viticulture. A portion of the proceeds raised through this event will go  directly to the Bern Laxer Memorial Scholarship Fund. With more than 15 years of marketing and sales experience in the wine & spirits industry, Norie is considered a specialist in the category. Her passion for wine has led her to become a certified wine instructor, executive wine sommelier and wine & food pairings expert by the International Wine Guild. She has also completed The Introductory Sommelier Course and Examination by the Court of Master Sommeliers.

In pursuing her real world experience for French wines she worked with wine makers at various wineries she represented in Alsace, Nantes, Montpellier, Bordeaux and most recently in Reims, where she had the opportunity to work with some of the top champagne producers of our time.

As a Regional Manager for the world’s fifth largest champagne brand, Norie is responsible for growing the brand’s business in her territory. At Laurent-Perrier Champagne she manages all commercial sales activities including customer and distributor relationships, marketing program execution and local brand activations.
